RAD Data Communications has won its second consecutive Best Product award for a Carrier Ethernet Demarcation Device; this time the ETX-203A was the winner.
Dr. Yaakov Stein, who has served as RAD Data Communications’ chief scientist for 12 years, has been named Chief Technology Officer for the Ethernet and access equipment provider.
The chief of the Internet's leading standards body stated that it is "misleading" for AT&T to claim that its push to charge customers for high-priority service is technically justified.
AT&T said that any Net neutrality plan restricting its ability to engage in "paid prioritization" of network traffic would be harmful and contrary to the fundamental principles of the Internet.
